Tomba dei Giganti di Su Niu ā€˜e Su Crobu a Sant’Antioco, antico monumento nuragico immerso nella campagna della Sardegna.

šŸ“ Where is it?

The tomb is located along the road leading from Sant’Antioco to Maladroxia. Simply follow Via Giacomo Matteotti for about 4 km, then follow the tourist signs for a further 7.5 km. The site is clearly signposted and is on the right-hand side.

šŸ›ļø What’s on?

This Giants’ Tomb dates back to the Bronze Age and is one of the best-preserved examples of collective burials from the Nuragic civilisation. The structure consists of a long apsidal corridor built from trachyte blocks, preceded by a semicircular exedra measuring approximately 14 metres, which served as a ceremonial space for funeral rites. During the excavations, fragments of notched stelae and stone horns were found, ritual objects that bear witness to the spirituality of a people deeply connected to the land and their ancestors.

šŸŒ„ Why visit?

Because here you can experience the most authentic side of Sardinia. No crowds, no noise. Just the stone, the wind and the echoes of a distant past that still speak to us today. Ideal for those who love history, archaeology and walks in the countryside.

šŸ‘‰ If you want to experience Sardinia’s millennia-old history first-hand, the Su Niu 'e Su Crobu Giants’ Tomb awaits you, silent yet imposing, in the wild heart of the island.
